Small Groups offer you the chance to find community, create lasting relationships, and grow in your walk with God. SZN ONE of small groups will begin on Sunday, February 3rd and enrollment is currently open! Not only would we love to see you be a part of a small group but we would love for you to lead one! All you need to do is attend one easy training following service on any Sunday in January. Class takes place immediately following service in the Teacher’s Lounge and lunch and childcare are provided.
From the beginning of Sozo Church, we have made it a priority to seek God first in prayer. We do this collectively as a church in January and August through 21 Days of Prayer. These two months are intentional, as they begin new seasons of the year. Together, we faithfully seek God first, trusting in His power alone to create lasting impact in our lives, our church, and our world. During the January season of 21 Days of Prayer, we encourage fasting as a spiritual next step that can bring clarity and revelation into your life. If you sense God has more for your life, 21 Days of Prayer is a great place to start believing Him for all that He has for you. As you practice seeking Him first, He will move on your behalf like never before. You will start to see the power of prayer impact your relationships, work, family, and every area of your life.
Join us on Sunday, January 27th at 6:30pm in the evening as we finish out our 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting season with a special night of worship. This special night of prayer, worship and communion is open to everyone and we believe God has something special planned for every person. Free parking and free coffee!
Life continues between Sundays. So should community.
At Sozo Church, small groups are a big deal and we cannot wait for our first season of small groups in 2019! Small Groups are the perfect opportunity to find community, create lasting relationships, stay connected to life here at Sozo Church and grow personally in your walk with God. We have a variety of small groups that meet all throughout the Bay Area every day of the week and would encourage you to find one that’s right for you. A detailed small group directory will be published on Sunday, February 3rd.

Sozo Church is a church that believes in the power of prayer. Our desire is to pray WITH people…not just FOR them. Join us for a quick and easy prayer training following service on Sunday, February 10th in the auditorium. Pastor Jason will be sharing our vision on prayer as well as some practical guidelines for praying for people at our services. Serving on the prayer team is an option after completion of this training.
We believe that the holidays should be an important time of the year to slow down, rest and spend time with those you love. For this reason, we will not be meeting at James Lick Middle School for service on Sunday, December 30th. Instead, we invite you to have church that morning in your own home. Gather your friends and family around your coffee table in your PJ’s and make sure you check out Sozo at Home — a special pre-recorded service with amazing worship and an encouraging word from Pastor Jason.
Service will air Sunday, December 30th at 10:30am at SOZO.CO.
Join us as we celebrate the good news and great joy of the birth of our Savior. Service will include your favorite Christmas sing-alongs, a festive program for your kids, passionate worship, communion an inspiring message and Christmas surprises for the whole family following service. Invite your friends and family to enjoy a beautiful service and some hot chocolate on us!
Join us as we serve our community at the Noe Valley Farmer’s Market. We will have the opportunity to provide free coffee, a Christmas craft for the kids and invite the community to join us for a special Christmas service on Sunday, December 23rd.
